Eigen built a flight status dashboard directly connected to the airline's flight database
Context: When a national airline sought to modernise its flight operations monitoring, they were introduced to a new and innovative technology partner: Eigen Caspian LLC, working together with Eigen Ltd.
Although this marked Eigen’s first project in the airline industry, the challenge presented became the ideal opportunity to demonstrate the power, speed and flexibility of Ingenuity 7, Eigen’s next-generation data platform.
Problem: During a presentation of the Ingenuity platform arranged by Eigen Caspian, the airline’s management highlighted a critical gap in their existing workflow:
- Their PowerBI dashboards could refresh only every 30 minutes, limiting situational awareness in a highly dynamic operational environment.
- Their control rooms needed clean, professional visual displays suitable for continuous, real-time monitoring.
- Operational teams required the flexibility to view historical data as well as up-to-the-minute status updates.

Solution: Eigen responded by rebuilding the airline’s flight status dashboard using Ingenuity 7, directly connected to the airline’s flight database.

- Total flights departed and arrived
- Numbers of delayed vs. on-time flights
- Delay categories following IATA delay codes
- Counts of flights per delay type
- Visual insights via charts, indicators and tables
This successful implementation marks Eigen’s first project in aviation, demonstrating the flexibility of Ingenuity as a platform for highly dynamic, data-driven operations, beyond Eigen’s traditional industry sectors.
