Eigen Ingenuity for Excel now live on Microsoft Marketplace 

We’re proud to announce that Eigen Ingenuity for Excel is now live on the Microsoft Excel Add-in Marketplace. 

Designed and architected by Ben and Paul, this modern add-in is built as a web application (Node.js-based rather than VBA), bringing a more flexible and scalable approach to working with time-series data directly in Excel. 

It delivers familiar functionality to traditional historian add-ins, while introducing a number of important improvements:

• Cross-platform support – works seamlessly across Excel for Windows, Mac, and Web  

• No local installation required – centrally deployed via Microsoft 365  

• Auto-updating – enhancements and fixes are rolled out automatically, with no user intervention  

• Multi-historian connectivity – integrates with a wide range of data historians and SQL data sources, and even Ingenuity virtual calculations through the Ingenuity platform  

This release marks an important step in making operational data more accessible and easier to work with in one of the most widely used tools across engineering and operations teams.
