Emerson LLC has selected the Azerbaijani branch of Eigen Ltd to deliver an integrated process data visualisation and production allocation solution to JOCAP (Joint Operating Company of Absheron Petroleum B. V.). The solution will use AVEVA’s PI technology for process data visualisation to monitor operations of the Absheron field.
The project will be led by PI System Infrastructure accredited engineers and a Project Manager based in Baku who will engage directly with the end customer (JOCAP) and Emerson to deliver the most robust and effective solution to the operational team.
Emerson chose Eigen because of their 14-year experience in the design, deployment and integration of digital oilfields around the world, particularly in Azerbaijan, where it designed and installed the entire digital infrastructure for BP in the Caspian Sea and continues to support it to this day. Also, Eigen was chosen for the national content, permanent presence in Baku and cost-effectiveness of the highly specialised resources. Eigen Caspian LLC is the only OSISoft system integrator partner in Azerbaijan.
With this agreement, JOCAP and Emerson recognise Eigen as an expert in the design of integrated process visualisation and field management solutions. This is the first deployment of OSIsoft PI technology in Azerbaijan outside of BP Caspian operations.
This project is being developed with 100% national content, making Eigen the go-to partner for the design, development, implementation, and support of digitalisation infrastructure in Azerbaijan.
