The Yggdrasil area development will comprise three offshore installations and will be powered from shore, representing a new generation of digitally enabled and lower-emission offshore operations. Field activities will be supported remotely from an integrated operations centre and onshore control room in Stavanger, enabling enhanced operational visibility and collaboration.
As part of this development, Eigen will design and implement a Barrier Status Panel system that provides operators with clear, real-time oversight of barrier health and operational integrity across the entire field. The BSP system will help ensure that safety-critical barriers are monitored effectively, supporting safe operations and enabling timely decision-making.
By delivering this solution, Eigen continues to strengthen its role in supporting safe, efficient, and digitally enabled offshore operations across the energy sector.
