Overview
Operating onshore provides a unique set of challenges, owing to scale and setting. Technology deployment has historically lagged offshore investment with only rudimentary instrumentation in place. The net effect is that onshore operators have been forced to leave their assets unsupervised, addressing issues reactively, which impacts cost and production.
