Historian Migration
Challenge
A new North Sea joint venture left an FPSO operator with six months to migrate all operational data away from a PI historian without losing analytics or operational visibility.
Solution
In just four months, live process data, KPIs and other complex calculations were migrated to the Eigen TechStack, using an open InfluxDB-based historian, with an upgraded analytics layer and visualization in Eigen Ingenuity, by refactoring the original PI displays.Â
Impact
The FPSO operator regained full ownership of its data with configurable calculations, reports and dashboards, supported throughout to ensure zero disruption to operations.
Real-Time Aviation Dashboard​
Challenge
An airline relied on Power BI dashboards refreshing every 30 minutes, limiting situational awareness in a highly dynamic operational environment.Â
Solution
Live feeds from the company’s flight database and third-party systems were unified into a live flight status contextual model, enabling real-time dashboards with KPIs, delay analysis and sortable flight views, as well as a means to review historical final flight status.
Impact
Operations moved from static reporting to continuous visibility, supporting faster decisions, trend analysis and a scalable foundation for future innovation.Â
Chemical Injection Management
Challenge
Limited instrumentation for production, injection rates and inventory forced one operator to rely on multiple spreadsheets and estimates, leading to over-injection and wasted spend, or under-injection and risk to operations.Â
Solution
Injection rates and inventories were continuously estimated with algorithms to infer actual dosing where instrumentation was absent. Inventory and target concentrations were calculated automatically, and visualized through configurable dashboards.
Impact
Operators gained precise, real-time visibility of chemical usage, reducing spend, improving compliance and strengthening asset integrity without disrupting operations.
